High-quality 3D scanning, made easy for everyone

Where cutting-edge technology, 3D scanning, and a marketplace meet

Our service is a next-generation scanning platform that pairs the latest 3D scanning technology with outstanding value for money. In particular, it led the way in Japan in supporting both 3D capture with 3D Gaussian Splatting, a technique drawing attention worldwide, and the handling of the resulting data.

Our guide What is Gaussian splatting? explains in detail how 3D Gaussian Splatting works, along with its strengths and weaknesses.

Key features

1. A wide range of scanning methods

Our focus is on the latest techniques such as 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), alongside high-resolution photogrammetry with DSLR cameras, and we also support conventional methods such as laser scanning. We select the best scanning method for your subject, purpose, and budget.

For subjects where fine detail is essential, such as craft objects, we use our own laser 3D scanner (Revopoint MetroY Ultra) to record even the smallest surface relief precisely.

For subjects that cover a wide area, such as buildings, bridges, and sites, we record the entire space as a point cloud with a LiDAR scanner. From our own highly mobile unit (3DMakerpro Eagle) to our partners' industrial LiDAR systems, we choose according to the accuracy you need and your budget (case study: LiDAR point cloud × BIM × 3D/4D Gaussian).

We also partner with the 3D Scan Technology Association (3DST), and can draw on, or introduce you to, the wide range of technologies its members offer.

2. AI-automated processing for dramatically lower prices

AI automates many of the steps after scanning, including data cleanup, optimization, and format conversion.
By streamlining work that used to be done by hand, we can in some cases offer prices one-tenth or less of what was typical before (for example, building data that once cost several million yen to produce now costs several hundred thousand yen).

We have also shortened the time capture takes. Spaces such as interiors and streetscapes are captured on foot with a 360° camera (Insta360 X6, DJI Osmo 360) and turned into 3D Gaussian splatting data.

As AI accelerates, we expect quality in this field to keep rising and prices to keep falling. We will keep working to offer quality and pricing that rank among the best in the industry.

3. A 3D marketplace where your scan data can be put to use

Your scanned 3D data can be listed as is on our 3D marketplace (3Dasset.io). It is the only marketplace that has supported 3D Gaussian Splatting data formats from early on.
Rights are tied to the data holder (the issuer) and managed accordingly, so selling, sharing, and archiving are all handled in one place.
Companies, creators, researchers, and others can freely search, view, buy, and sell 3D data of cultural properties, products, natural objects, and more. Registered data is securely managed on a Layer 1 (L1) blockchain.

4. Technology that keeps evolving

In partnership with research institutions, we carry out ongoing research and development of next-generation 3D scanning technology.
We test new capture equipment and newly published methods on real sites, and keep refining how we shoot and which method we choose for each subject and purpose.

We also work on technology that preserves motion, not just shape. We offer 4D Gaussian Splatting (4DGS.jp), which lets you replay human movement from any angle, and markerless motion capture (AR51), in combination with scanning.

An "after the scan" experience like no other

Ours is a one-of-a-kind scanning service, designed not just to 3D scan but to cover how the data is put to use.
Whether you want to record, preserve, or share, we support you with our technology and our network.
